Gateway College Strengthens Industry Ties with Leading Construction and Design Partners

Gateway College Australia has formalised partnerships with four industry-leading organisations to enhance student learning and employability outcomes.

Our new partners — Achor Group, Cheng Darcy, Viva Projects, and Sustainova — are recognised leaders in construction, design, and sustainability across Australia. These collaborations bring authentic industry engagement directly into our classrooms.

Real Projects, Real Learning

Students will now have access to current and completed project case studies from our partners. These real-world scenarios allow learners to analyse genuine construction and management challenges, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and sustainability integration.

On-Site Experience

The partnership framework includes regular site visits to active construction and development projects. Students will observe professional practices, safety management, and project coordination in live environments — experiences that cannot be replicated in a classroom setting.

Learning from Industry Experts

Specialists from partner organisations will deliver guest lectures, seminars, and panel discussions throughout the academic year. Topics will include current market trends, digital innovations such as BIM, and practical sustainability strategies.

Pathways to Employment

Selected students will have access to internships, work placements, and graduate opportunities within partner companies. These pathways enable learners to build professional networks and demonstrate their competencies in authentic industry contexts.
